But yeah. Just got through my first week of band camp. I must say, i didn't expect to learn what i learned there |D;;

Well, I suppose I should've expected it but I didn't, so now my legs and arms are sore and does not want to move. We learned how to march and the phases we use on a football field. I thought we were just going to play music and learn some new pieces but it was nothing new from what we got last year (didn't go in my freshman year ya see) and I really suck at marching xD;;
Buuuut, at least I know how most of the marching music sounds like, so the playing part of the week was pretty easy actually. I just need to actually practice them; something I didn't do last year xD;

I don't know, I just can't seem to get the arm movement right. And when I concentrate on just my arm movement, i become less attentive on my legs so I don't accent them at the right time, so I have to avert my attention back to my legs, then I forget that I have to count to the tempo (which make me lose my breath very quickly making marching quite difficult) and finally, I just get thrown off the whole marching and my posture becomes a mess.
Also I feel like a slow learner cuz i keep on forgetting when to raise my instrument while doing the phases even though we practiced it over and over again, haha.

More bad news! Yesterday was the last day of camp that our section leader was here D:
So, now we don't know who will play the piccolo or who will teach us the rest of the marching music .___.;; (our section is the flutes)
But I'm sure they'll figure it out~~....yeah...
oh and I heard because of the marching and the seniors picking on us freshmen, (yes I'm considered a freshmen there since this is also my first time) a lot of us are leaving.
I'm hoping they'll at least join the symphonic band instead


OK artsy stuff!

pffft, i don't even know where to start.

I have so many OCs, I don't even know what to do with them all. Though a lot of them are getting tied to each other, meaning they're all connected in one HUGE storyline but will probably never meet everyone. I'd enter one of them in an OC, but I haven't gotten a lot of their stories straight or finished (or both) and I'm just to darn lazy to squeeze some effort.
I really must break that laziness.
also, I have a habit of telling myself that I will do something later but then end up forgetting to do it.

Other news, I'm trying to make myself a schedule for my every day life, and so far....I only got the morning part down.
