So I noticed that my item reference sheet for Maddie looked a little dull and I figured that maybe it was because I was using black (and sorta thick) lines that it came out that way. After looking at Lycie's item sheet ([link]) (random deviant advertising? Aw yiiiiis), I thought about maybe experimenting with colored lines, rather than using black like I usually do. But then I remembered that I'm no wizard when it came to using colors...and also remembered PK's tutorial about colors ([link]) and learned a little bit about that. Then I saw her Speed Paint tutorial ([link]) and tried that out (speed paint my foot, this thing took me nearly 2 hours..but maybe I'm just a slow worker) so I ended up drawing a picture that kinda mimics her style that has little to no lines 8|

I can't say that this wasn't fun to make, but it got really annoying when I had to switch back and forth from layer to layer to get all the colors I've used on one layer to the top layer. Too bad it's not like iscribble where the color picker could just pick out the color you see in front of you regardless on what layer you're on |D;;


By the by, this little guy is Morty. He is in my Pokemon White run and you'll probably be seeing more of him sometime soon c:

Originally, he was supposed to be running through a forest fire (caused by yours truly) with a Panpour chasing after him, but that didn't really fit his character so now you get this boring piece, lol.
